

The adult-use cannabis regulations (§125.5) require that all persons performing activities under a licensed cannabis business, must complete Responsible Workforce Training.
Responsible Workforce Training includes four training requirements:
- A Cannabis Product Safety and Responsibility course developed by the OCM which reviews health and safety in the regulated cannabis industry.
- A Cannabis Workforce Responsibility course developed by the New York State Department of Labor which reviews labor standards and workplace health and safety in the regulated cannabis industry.
- At least two hours of training for the specific activity in which the licensee (employer) is approved to pursue. This is determined and provided by the licensee (employer); and
- An implicit bias training determined and provided by a licensee (employer).
